After doing a couple hours of research, I found out that the F250 and F350's do not come with factory theft prevention/protection devices other than removing the key, rolling up the windows and locking the doors. The key FOB /only/ locks the doors and unlocks the doors with a signal that they have been locked (and the panic button). Other Ford models (some)like the F150 and Expeditions do have a chip ignition key so the computer detects the chip match code in order to start, but the F250's and F350's do not. Why?
For some reason, Ford decided not to put quality default anti-theft devices in their $50k trucks. Well, they do give you a key and a phone number to some local 3rd party place to install alarms.
So I called an auto alarm place. The alarms range from $250 to $1500.
They can install a started kill key switch under the dash. This then requires 2 keys to start the vehicle and possibly adding a few more seconds to the thief.
Has anyone heard of something different?
