That motorcycle hanging off the back contributed to the disaster as well.
If he'd bought a Ford instead, it probably wouldn't have happened. ;)

His Ford would have just done a wheelie with front tires floating!

Absolutely about the motorcycle cantilevered 4’ behind rear bumper.

I would not want to be broken down in Baja.

I would not mind being broken down at a nice RV campground or BnB on the beach.

Look at where the wheels are in location to the length of the camper. The wheels are in the middle and most of the weight is behind them. I wonder if his insurance will cover stupidity.
The general rule is 60% of the weight ahead of the axle, 40% behind; this applies to trailers and towing, also.
