No they will not fit correctly. The only difference between the two is the backspacing, the backspacing of the '05-up wheels is over 1" grater than that of a pre-'05 wheel. You can physically put the wheels on but they will have a narrow track (rail road truck look) and rub the leaf springs when turning.

Lug pattern is way different 05 wheels will not fit on a 99 look at the hole inthe center.

judging from the looks my step fathers 05 250 looks similar to my 99 350 lug wise ...but his lug pattern is more flush with the "spokes"
my spokes curve in... they are not spokes per say, but i am not sure what you call them. I am sure that that would affect the spacing though...bummer I thought they were the same until now. that way I could have free rims if he upgraded.
