I'm in the middle of this right now on the 94 as well-- the autozone clutch wrench (not the pulley holder) is worthless. It actually widens as you put a load on it and slips on the nut. I'm now trying to open up an old 1 3/4 box wrench on the grinder to approx. 1.95" and trying again.
The thread direction threw me for a loop also. The shroud says right hand thread and the book says left.....nice. What is it; right or left?
I hate these kinds of projects where the simplest of tasks go south.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
