Nope, this motor is not the same. A coolant filter is not so much needed on this motor. There is no issue with oil coolers being plugged or failing. Proper testing of the nitrates and changing at the recommended interval will be fine for this motor.
A filter for the coolant can be added if you desire but I see no reason for it.
