I recently purchased a complete donor truck to pull axles from to swap into my truck. It is a 1997 F-350 with a C5 axle code (so 4.10 and limited slip) with only 70k original miles. Truck has a blown trans so I picked up the whole thing for $1500. I ordered just about everything I think I need from PMF suspension, but Im trying to figure out what else I could possibly need.

-RSK 2.25" lift
-Track bar drop bracket 2.5"
-Adjustable track bar
-Dual steering stabilizer bracket
-3" extended stainless brake lines

Going to order
-new aftermarket X code springs (from SD truck springs, any good???)
-new aftermarket A code springs
-I guess I need to order all new u bolts

What should I do to service these new axles before they go in? Im pretty confident in doing the swap, but this part actually has me a little concerned.

I appreciate any input from anyone who has done this before!

Check with PMF on what they recommend. They are more than accommodating with questions.

There's a lot of info on the web specific to their kit, very little of it residing in this forum. There just isn't the traffic here that there is on other PSD sites, unfortunately. This site has probably been around the longest of all of them.

Guys at PMF are awesome, I'll be ordering more parts from them soon. Moving on, I pulled the axle out of my donor truck today and ended up having to cut steering arm coming off the pitman arm. I guess thats what I get for buying a used plow truck. So not concerned about that, I have no issue with ordering new parts. But I am concered with the front drive shaft on my truck, I was under the impression I was could just just bolt it up to the 60 but Ive read in a few places that it wont fit? Is that true? Do i need to use the one from my donor truck? I'm hoping to make some progress next weekend, and I'll be sure to put up some more pictures.
