Got the results to my first Blackstone test. How do I lower the TBN?
It is 9.8 (TBN). Everything else was good. Blackstone said it was the nicest wearing Powerstroke they've seen in a month. I'd attach the copy, but I don't know how.

thanks

Run the oil longer and wear it out ... [urlhttp://www.1st-in-synthetics.com/10W30APIe.htm] CLICK HERE[/url]. Just like in tranny temps lower is not always better so understand what the parameter is showing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I get it now. Blackstone said it was still quite high. Meaning I can get more use from oil. I use 15w-40 Delo. Had 4100 miles at change. Truck has 53.5k miles total. BlackStone, said to go 5k or more before next oil change. Thanks guys. I guess I was just confused. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
