Hi all,

I just searched the forums and maybe my search terms were off but I could not find anything on my problem. I have a handful of 2 5/8 autometer sport-comp gauges I bought awhile ago for my car. I'm now driving an 02 F-250 7.3 and would like to put them in the truck, especially since I have my pyro setup as a multichannel gauge to read all 8 cylinders and well as turbine outlet by switch selection. My problem is I cannot seem to find any 2 5/8 mounting solutions unless I want the cheesy 1960's mounting rings. I prefer not to go through the hassle of sculpting a new a-pillar and laying it up in fiberglass. Anyone know a supplier that does 2 5/8 pods for the SD?

TIA

Sounds like a pretty neat setup on the pyro. Was that custom built, or did you buy it??

Actually it's just a 9 position switch with a common ground that I have the T/C's hooked up through. Whichever one you wanna see you just turn the switch, runs on an autometer pyro.

Nice concept. Wish I could help with your question. Someone on here will have the solution.

Well where I work, my big engine is a V-16 2 stroker running about 300 rpm and 14,000 hp. We monitor individual cylinder temps on all our engines to prevent possible large dollar uh-oh's. It can tell you a hell of a lot.

All the neat gauge mounts I've seen for more than one gauge are made for 2 1/16" gauges.

So I'd guess you're stuck with the 2 5/8" single cup style mount, with maybe an angle ring added to make it neater. Autometer makes a bunch of different cup mounts.
Click here then consider only those that are pedestal style for 2 5/8th gauges.

And they have several 2 5/8" angle rings, including
ATM-3244 (search on part number ATM-3244 in the SummitRacing website).

You can also search on "gauge mounts" at SummitRacing but you'll get several pages of mostly non-applicable stuff. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
