I am from Austria and own a Ford F250, built in 1993 (7,3l, 4x4, xlt, 60.000mls). It's difficult to find someone with good knowledge about american cars (thats why i look for help on the net). My F250 has a problem with the automatic transmission. The light on the gear lever (beside the steering wheel) , which shows if the overdrive is "off" or on, is flashing and the overdrive does not operate (it happens after driving for short distanc with 4wd). I changed the automatic transmission fluid and filter, had a look for the plugs by the tranny, but that helped nothing.
Is there any idea out there ????

Hi, mp, and Welcome to Ford-Diesel.com.

This website includes several forums, and the various forums are reserved for various topics. This forum is reserved for discussions about the operation of this website. Since you are discussing a technical problem with a Ford diesel truck, I'll move this topic to the appropriate forum where your inquiry will be on topic and where many of the members that frequent that forum care about your model of truck.

Look for additional responses in the "7.3L IDI Diesels (Not Power Strokes)" forum.
