HELLO GUYS..............NEW HERE...............HAVE 85 F350 WITH BLOWN 6.9.......BOUGHT IT CHEAP...........PICKED UP A 7.3 OUT OF A 87 I WAS TOLD...............IS THE FLEX PLATE THE SAME.......WAS TOLD BY SOMEONE THAT ONE IS COUNTERWEIGHTED........DONT HAVE THE ONE FOR THE 7.3 TO COMPARE IT TO......THANKS /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

They are different (different balance). You should be able to order one at an auto parts store. Make sure you specify it's for a C6, not sure if the one for an E4OD has different holes or not...

I'm going the other way for awhile, from a 7.3 to a 6.9. The flexplate from the 7.3 (C6) bolted right up to the 6.9. Do I need to find a flexplate for a 6.9? There are two styles that I know of a cast one and one pressed out of steel. Which is which?
