Florida lift law for over 7,500# trucks? Need help....

I am considering taking a job in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I have seen this:

"If your truck's net weight is less than 2,000 pounds, the max bumper height is 24 inches front and 26 inches rear. If it's more 2,000 but less than 3,000, it's 27 front and 29 rear. And if it hits the scales between 3,000 and 5,000 pounds, it's 28 and 30 inches."

I also saw: max height for headlights 54"

My truck is 30" to the bottom of the bumper in the front and 31.5" in the rear.

Head lights are 54" to center.

I have seen some trucks as tall as mine in Clearwater, but nothing of the sort in Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure these trucks are expemt from the bumper height in Florida because they are _registered_ as 8800lbs+. I've been all up and down Florida and never been bothered.
