I would like to flush and change my brake fluid...but I have never done it before. Can somebody please tell me, or show me with pictures, how to accomplish this.

Thanks

Someone will give you the procedure, but you might consider THIS BRAKE FLUID. I just recently ordered two liters of blue and two liters of amber. It makes it easy to see when all the old fluid is out of the line. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

Nice project car the Falcon, I have a 1960 sedan with the 1.6 in-line six and a 2 speed automatic. All original at 106kmi.

Cool. My Mom's cousin bought it new in SoCal in late 63. It was originally a 260 with a Ford-o-Matic 2 speed auto. It's had a lot of hard miles, Uncle Bill hit a rolling tire at 70 that launched the front end high enough that "all he could see was blue sky." It camed down on the tire and trashed the front crossmember, oil pan, steering, etc. It also had the original 260 burn up in flames while his wife was driving. I rebuilt a five bolt 289 and converted it to a nice toploader from a Falcon.

I've got a std bore 5 bolt k-code block with a 64 casting date ready to go, but I am starting to lean towards a 351w based 393 inch stroker motor...

If anyone cares the Falcon Club of America is having the national meet in San Ramon, CA (NorCal) on July 14-16.

Check out the Brakes subsection of the "little secrets" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

While you're at it check out the Power Steering for that flush along with the Rear End/Axle for changing the oil.

There are some really good tidbits from Jack in some of those threads and when Jack talks ... "I LISTEN" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
