Hey Guys,

I took delivery of my 2012 F350 a few weeks ago and am in love with this truck. First tank of fuel I got 19.7MPG running through the heart of the Rockies! When doing the paperwork for the truck they offered me an ESP plan for $2800, but I declined and gut feeling told me it was too much. It was a 7yr 75k 100 ded plan. After some quick searching on the net I found the same plan from a dealer online for close to 1600 so my gut was right.
What I was wondering is if there are any online dealers that have the best price on these plans and should I even consider one? My last truck was a Tundra and the forum I belonged to there was a sponsored dealer that offered the Toyota warranty at rock bottom pricing. I got a 7yr 100k no ded Platinum warranty for $900. I know a diesel warranty is going to cost more but what are some good prices for these trucks? I would love to hear others opinions on this topic.

Subscribed...I'd like to know as well...I'll be purchasing one before my warranty goes up. Back in 2003 ish... i bought an extended warranty from a 3rd party that covered me for 7 yrs/120,000 miles. Paid $1,500 for it...and that company is now out of business but thats another story! I'd like to go the Ford route this time but there's gotta be wiggle room there...

My 100k plan through Ford was right under $2k but I was fine with that price, it seemed reasonable.

There are many ESP Options.

Years
mileage
converage
rental car options
deductable

All of these affect your final purchase price.
There are online dealers that sell ESP from Ford, and there are several sponsers that also sell ESP for cost +

I purchased:

7yr/125k miles
B2B
$200 ded
no car

for approx $1850 ??

Good info guys, keep them coming. The one I found the best price so far was floodfordesp.com

Yeah I just looked mine up on fordwarrantys.com and I paid just under what was listed.

I got the $0 deductible, 100k PremiumCare. Told the dealer I would pay $1 over cost and finance guy said sure thing.

Zeigler Ford is the cheapest ESP you will find. The website is Ford ESP: Ford Extended Service Plans at highly discounted prices. Lowest Price Guarantee!

Many people have purchased through them.. they sell them at just about cost, I have spent hours and hours researching this, you won't find anyone cheaper. They beat floodfordesp as well that was mentioned above.

Madbare, I just ran the quote from the website, the 7yr/75k, premium care with $100 deductible is $1,505, 7yr/100k is $1690 and 7yr, 125k is $2,460

Keep in mind there are other choices that can affect final price.

Car rental option
Deduct amount

I found a dealer in Vernon Texas that gives lifetime engine and powertrain warranty as long as you own the vehicle. With no ded$$$ I priced some trucks with the x-plan and the dealer has better deals than that.

I found the opposite. For the same plan, Fordwarranty.com was $2224.00 with $100.00 ded and Ziegler was $2460.00. Floodfordesp was over $100.0 more than Ziegler was.

as of 11-3-2011, Fordwarranty.com was the least expensive by a few hundred dollars.

I chose 7/125k premium with no rental as the basis for comparison. I'll see later today what my dealer tells me. I see from Ford that the costs will increase effective 11-4-2011.

Also I are you talking about both service and warranty? I rolled over my service plan from my 2011 and ended up getting 3 year/36,000 miles off what I had remaining. I declined the warranty mainly because it made my payments just a few dollars too high (I had that psychological limit I just didn't want to reach). I told the guy guess I'll just have to buy a new truck in 3 years :)!
