Maybe this information has been answered before, because I am kind of new. So, forgive me if this is repititious.

Does Ford or Navstar have anything to do with Ford-Diesel.com? Do they have input as necessary? Are some of the questions, etc. ever refered to them? If we need to ask a specific question or have a specific recommendation on improvements, will Ford hear it or is it just wasted on us PSD junkies?

First, WELCOME to the site!

Neither Ford nor Navistar have any affiliation with this site. It is owned by Jason Lester. See the disclaimers at the bottom of the home page.

Does Ford or Navistar read this site? You bet! Like any business, they are interested in feedback from their customers.

Not really.

Ford strongly believes that the contact between the customer and Ford should be your local Ford Dealer. They want to keep the dealer in the picture for everything concerning Ford customers.

You have a suggestion for Ford? Give it to your Ford dealer. He's supposed to filter out the silly stuff and forward the good stuff up the chain of command within Ford.

You want to complain about a Ford product? Complain to your Ford dealer. He's responsible for managing the Ford warranty program, and for passing any valid complaints up the chain of command within Ford.

If you call a Ford Customer Service hotline, you will rarely get any answer other than "talk to your Ford dealer" or "your Ford dealer will take care of that".

There is some information available on the Ford website, but the only contacts they give you is the name and address of your local Ford dealer. Or the phone number of their Customer Service center, where all the people on the other end of the phone line are trained to answer any question with "your local Ford dealer can take care of that".

That's why whd507 considered Dieselpower's response to be so funny.

Welcome to Ford-Diesel.com, where other other Ford customers meet to discuss their Ford diesel trucks.
And to offer suggestions to Ford. And to gripe and complain about Ford. And to laugh at Ford's Customer Service response.
