I have gotten 4 post cards trying to get me to buy a new truck. I keep thinking why are they still sending them. Is my 04 truck that bad?. The big thing thats keeps from doing it I am just about half paid off and would not like to have a car payment. I have only 14k on the clock, so it doesn't seem like a good deal to me still. I feel like I am a roller coaster reading all the good and bad posts on hear. I wonder if they are going to give me 10k next. I do like the new 07 highline supercabs I just saw online.

Here's my guess. Some bean counter at Ford wants you out of that truck because you're a warranty liability. As an original owner you are protected by your state lemon law. YES, there is a used car lemon law but that certainly doesn't carry the same weight as the "New" car lemon law.. In their eyes, the more 6.0's not eligible for the lemon law the less they have to pay out in warranty claims.

I was thinking along those same lines myself. I have been trying to explain this to the wife and she's not buying it. I will say that I have not had any problems at all and really do like the truck. It's just all the problems that have been with this motor have me spooked. She just thinks that I want a new truck.
