I ordered this truck about 3 weeks ago, and I just realized today there is not a engine block heater listed on my invoice, my dealership today just gave me the serial number for my truck and said it would be delivered on June 20th.

IS it too late to change this order?????? OR if i can not change it how difficult would it be to install one?

If anyone can help i would appreciate it!

All 6.0Ls come with a block heater. In some states the cord is optional, and it's standard in other states. If your's comes without the cord the dealer can get it or you and you can plug it in.

Call the dealer immediately if not sooner and have them check how far along the order is. I almost ordered mine sans the cord. I had read a post here on the 'Stop about Ford not including the cord with all diesels. We ordered the same day, after the wife came home. This forum has been a wealth of information. It can be added after delivery but lookin' at mine it could be a bear snakin' that thing though. That alone is worth the $30. The block heater is on the passenger side above the starter.

Just Rattlin' - cause you can hear 'em comin'. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
