Just bought a 99 f350 superduty diesel dually, Went to get a hitch installed and the dealer is saying the hitch does not fit as My frame is slightly bent. Looks fine to me and I question his judgement. Do you know the width from bolt hole centers left side to right side. I get 42 and 1/2 inches on my truck.

The dealer probably has the wrong hitch. He may have one for an F150, which has a different frame width. You could get a factory one off of eBay that would be sure to fit.

You can't really "bend" the frame enough to make a difference without the crossmemembers and rear bumper being destroyed.
