I am doing brakes this weekend. My 96 has the TTB front end. What socket do I need to buy to get the rotor off.

4 slot 6 slot?

I did mine recently and to get them off I think a 4 slot did the trick. I was lucky enough to borrow one from my local mechanic...

I bought a 4 inny, and a 4 outy.

Neither were it. Got it off with a hammer and chissle. New problem. Can't get the rotor off the hub. Other post.

I could only find one at Kragen where I live. Powerbuilt #648477. 4 Lug X 2-1/2" inner spindle nut. Thats for manual locking hubs. The other automatic hubs use a different socket. Ford # T95t-1197-b. Look here for an example
