I've heard complaints of a vibration in the front end of their 4x4's that goes away when they select 4HI and thought I'd let you know that what you hear is the stub shaft grinding in your front hubs. While you can not service the wheel bearings in these hubs you can and should service the axle bearings. It takes a few hours to do but it will save you a bunch of money in replacement parts. Basic hand tools are needed and a set of snap ring pliers. I'll try to attach some pics of one that was neglected.
