O.K. here we go, worked on truck all day Sat.
-WOBBLE WHEN BRAKING
Changed rotors and pads, used napa rotors, not cheapest, but not most expensive. Ceramix pads. braking wobble is totally gone.

-SHUTTER ON HARD TAKE OFF
Changed carrier bearing first, then tried it. Wanted to nail down the culprit. Did not help much. Changed rear end grease to Synthetic Valvoline, shutter almost completly gone. Only when wheel is turn hard to right from stop and gun it do I get any shtter. Should I add anti-friction stuff to rear end. Is it O.K to add to Synthetic?

-STEERING
Had a lot of slack in my steering wheel,I assumed that was the reason for constantly having to correct steering at 50-70mph. Not bad, but anoying. Tighten steering gearbox until steering wheel slop was gone. Truck steering still has to be corrected. Its hard to explain, front end was recently alighned, nothing is loose, you can let go of the wheel and it runs stright, but when you move the wheel one way or the other, it's almost like it goes a little too far and you have to bring it back and so on. Hope this has happen to someone else and there is an answer. Put front axle on jack stands and pulled and pryed and shook everything under. Nothing is loose.

Just fixed this exact problem on my 96 F250. Check for frozen u-joint in front axle. I would be willing to bet that there is light rust coming out of the joints and they are not working freely. Jack truck up and have someone turn the wheel to extremes while you observe the wheels to see if they are erratic, the drive shaft jerks or the wheel has a slight jerk in it. Try with hubs locked and unlocked. Helped me (and nothing was loose either, just too tight)!!
