I am about ready for some new front rotors and pads for my 02 F-250 4x4.

Thinking about the slotted rotors means I tow heavy loads quite a bit. Where have you guys been picking up new rotors and pads at a good deal? thanks

Alot of guys run powerstlots and hawk LTS pads. They are pretty spendy. I tried out a set of rotors and pads from rotorpros.com and so far they have been great. Price is awesome.

Got tired of doing brake jobs and went with Performance Friction 2-pcs rotors http://www.performancefriction.com/...odel=&engtype=V8&cid=445&liter=7.3&fueldel=FI Man, I don't regret that 2 years and not the faintest hint of warppage. Unlike most of their rotors, these are not slotted or drilled.

I haven't tried any of the trendy pads, just get the Ford OE HD pads. (NOT the ones from Motorcraft) You should get just a plain ole box with a little sticker on it. (It will also have ALL NEW hardware that nobody sees fit to include anymore)

With this set up brake fade is gone. I can consistently and repeatedly stop quickly.

Another for Power Slots. I run them with EBC's "green Stuff" extra duty pads. Have been towing on them for about 3k so far and I am impressed with the stopping power and smoothness with them. I looked around on the net for a while to find the best price on the rotors but ended up just buying them locally. I bought mine at a local 4x4 shop. I bet if you shop some of the local guys they will match the internet prices....
