Hi,
I have a 01 CC, LB, F250 Power Stroke with a 35BFG, my front tire (driver's side only) is rubbing at the rear/bottom of the wheel well, while the passenger side is barely missing it, What could be my problem ? my tire alignment checkout to be okay, could I have a slight missalignment on the holes on the chasis or could my leaf spring center guide be off ? I check the center distance of my shackles and they are both the same, 5 inch center distance. I am currently contemplating on making or purchasing a new pair of shackles with either 5-1/2 or 6 inch center distance to raise the front and hopefully clear the tire, am I heading towards the right way to fix this ? and if this is the right way do I need to change my front shocks ? I would appreciate your kind help on this one
Thanks
Carmelo

I would purchase the new shackles. If I remember right, with a leveling kit you shouldn't be able to run as big as 35's.

Thanks for the input, The leveling kit and the 35 BFG tires was on it when I purchased the truck. If and when I do replace the shackles, will it need to replace the front shocks too ?

Buy a DR Mini Pack or do something similar to it, and take out leafs from the pack to raise the front whatever the amount you want, up to 2". This is assuming you are using your stock front leaf springs. If you use these they go underneath your springs so you won't have to change your shocks.

I put a 3" hanger and shackle level kit on my truck and my 35's rubbed. I pulled back the bottom of the liners with plastic zip ties and raised the front another 1/2 an inch and now i don't really have any problems.
