Anyone know the part# for the wiring harness that goes around the fuel bowl to the bowl heater.. IPR and sending unit? I'd feel better replacing this while its disassembled.
It is the later model harness. The early ones had the fuel restriction sensor down at the bottom rear of the fuel bowl, while the later ones had it up on the fuel pressure regulator block (so the wire routing is slightly different). For some reason the early ones were really expensive while the later ones were much cheaper. The later one works just fine (I used one on my 1994). Get it from someplace like Tousley Ford Parts. Cheers!
You might also try F6TZ-9S277-AA. It's cheaper than F7TZ-9S277-AA.
Before 2/5/96
F6TZ-9S277-AA

From 2/5/96
F7TZ-9S277-AA

I have no idea the difference between the two. The only thing of which I can think is the IPR terminals may be gold instead of tin for OBDII compliance.
For grins, here's the '94/'95 harness part number:
F4TZ-9S277-A

I tried repairing mine before I purchased a new one, but the heat shrink and whatever else I tried just couldn't stand up to the heat and diesel. Cheers!
