I have never changed my fuel filter myself before. I watched a you tube video on a fuel filter change and it showed the guy drain the bowl by turning a switch behind the bowl where does the fuel/water go. Do I need to drain into something or does it stay in the truck? If it drains out where is the drain located? Anything else I need to know?

The drain valve is attached to a piece of tubing that drains to the passanger side of the motor. Some, as well as I , have attached a piece of rubber tubing to it to bring it further down to prevent the fuel from getting all over.

Look at the front right side of the engine just above where the oil pan is and you should see the tube from the filter housing.
