i replaced the fuel pump on my 97 powerstroke put all back together now fuel is coming up like a fountain from the line that goes up from the filter canister???? what did I miss? kinda looks like a breather tube or???

The one that goes in the bottom of the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) block? Cheers!

it is connected to the canister and goes up towards the top of the canister it looks like a fuel line it connects to the very bottom on one side what goes on the other sude up top?

It should go into the bottom of the FPR (the part with the schraeder valve that bolts to the side of the canister). Cheers!

Make sure that line is fully seated in the FPR. I had a hell of a time getting it seated and it constantly leaked with a new o-ring! A little more effort and it slid in completely and no more leaks.
