Is there a timing mechanism on the Fuel pumps? I had someone tell me that is sounded like mine Fuel pump timing needed adjusting. I have played around with the actual fuel adjusting, to give more fuel. But how do you modify the fuel pump timing. I have been noticing a loss in more lately.

And help on this would be much appricated.

First I think you should visit Ziggs page...........to find out about the pyro requirement and correct adjusting of the IP.

If you line up the gear cover and pump top center lines you will be able to start it.

The marks on the pump to housing are only accurate if it is the original pump from the factory. Turning the injection pump max 1/16" at one time, to either side (measured at the pump to housing flange marks) that's about 4 deg. To pax side is advancing to drvrs side it retarding, engine off for all adjustments and tighten nuts on IP before start.
