Bought a 96 powerstroke that needs a fuel pump, don't know too much about the fuel systems in these and will be my first time putting a pump in. Where is the pump location on this truck and what all should I replace or be aware of? Thanks

It is almost under the turbo behind the filter housing. Depending on if you have 49 state truck or a California truck will determine what you need to do to replace it.

There are a couple of links in my post in this thread that you can read about it.

It is a mechanical fuel pump in the engine valley. Not too hard to replace. A lot of guys upgrade to an electronic fuel pump though, if you want to invest a little more. A lot of write ups out there explaining how to do it.
