I have a 2001 7.3L PSD with a 6 speed manual tranny and it occasionally jerks either while driving or idleing. It usually happens while it is raining or has just stopped. If it does it multiple times it sets the SES light, but it goes off when the truck is restarted. Sometimes when it is idling and does it, the motor stalls out. Is this a problem with the fuel pump, injectors, ECU, or something else. Please reply if you have any info as to what might be going on or send me a PM. The only mods are an intake and exhaust.

Possibly the CPS since it always gets blames but since it associated with rain you may want to make sure your windshiled is not leaking. There have been some here who have found their windshield leaking and letting water get into the PCM causing all sorts of problems.
