Ok, I;m looking at the Auto Meter Phantom Series Differential Temp Gauge Kit. The probe uses 1/8" NPT. My Diff is stock and I would like to put the probe in the fill port. Does anyone know what the size of the fill port is? Has anyone has any one done this? Does it work well? Thanks Anthony

I think the probe needs to be submerged in the fluid which means you need to either weld a bung onto your stock cover down lower or get an aftermarket cover that has the inlet already. Have you seen the clear lexan covers for the rear diff? I think they look really cool and it is easy to check fluid level. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
