I need some recommendations on gauges. I'm tempted by Edge's solution, but I hear it's not as accurate as standard gauges. It's also a little more upfront. Any thoughts? Thanks

The Edge Insight is a good way to go. I've never heard of an accuracy issue. It's as accurate as the sensors used by the PCM to control the truck.

If you want to go a little cheaper route, check out the ScanGauge2. Pretty cool little device and very affordable.

Thanks for your input. I like the edge but have a hard time shelling out 400 for the monitor and not getting the tuner. Might just wait to buy the edge till I can afford both.

I like have a real guage..Isspro's..one fails replace it..unlike a all in one..

If you think 400$ is a lot then just add the tunes better have some deep pockets.

I too didnt want to spend that much on an edge insight, but 15 minutes after I had it installed and after logging actual numbers, that was probably the best 400 bucks I have spent.

Edge insight Is a great design. If y wanted to go with gauges, in my opinion the gauges that change colors are pretty expensive. I know u can get cool gauges wrapped in chrome built for semis.
