Wanting to add a Scan Gauge 2 or Ultra Gauge MX 1.3 need some input from what is run on 7.3's.

I have the ScanGauge and I love it. I use it to monitor my current MPG, AVG MPG, and then rotate the other two depending on my mood. Sometimes I track IPR and ICP together. Other times MAP and EBP. It is a neat gauge with a lot of capability. I mounted mine on a wood block that fits in that useless coin holder in the dash. Looks like it belongs there.

Have the ScanGuage II on my '99 7.3. It works fine, and can provide more info than you can possibly use.

I went with ScanGauge also because I heard good reviews about it. So far, have no complaints about it.

Just remember EGT readings will require a searate guage.
