I purchased my F250 new in the spring of 2001. It's been a good ride for all of these years but I've decided to jump ship and buy a gasoline engine pickup. I never really needed the capacity of the 7.3L but it was nice to have at the time. I rarely tow now and a new smoother riding half ton will soon replace my old faithful diesel.

I won't get much for trade-in but they cut me a nice deal on the new one. I'd keep the F250 and sell it outright but being this close to Christmas, not having room for another vehicle, etc. I'll trade it in if I can't find a buyer in a couple of days.

Thanks to everyone for all of the help over the years.

Don't feel lonely. With the towing capacity of the gas trucks now and all the extra cost and maintenance of the diesel I will quite likely be purchasing a gas truck once I decide to get rid of my 96 oil burner.
