Ok, here goes. I started my problem with the smoke in the exhaust, upon morning start up. I ohmed all the glow plugs and found that 2 were of infinate resistance and the other 6 were fine. I replaced the 2 and threw in a stancore while I was at it. Next morning, no smoke (40 degrees out). About a week later the smoke was back I ohmed all the GP's and they were all fine. I have checked the GPR 1/2 a dozen times and it's working. I have pulled the valve covers and checked the valve cover harnesses on both side and they look fine. Power is what it has always been. I am getting frustrated and wanted to see if you guys had any ideas for me. As always, thanks in advance for any help.

Look here...

Stick a screwdriver in the fill , drain hole & see how much oil is in there. It should be 1/2 inch from the top
