I've noticed that if I get up to 95 MPH the engine seems to cut out. I know 95 mph is too fast and when I get thre I usually come to my senses and slow the hell down fast. I'm just curious.....

Speed limiter. Many programmers will remove it, but make sure your tires are up to the task.

your Ex has two limiters one for max RPM set to cut back at about 5200-5300rpm and a max speed limit set at 93mph +/- 2%
