Anybody ever use these BD-Power Governor Control Kits to run a PTO on their manual transmission 6.0 Powerstroke?
The part # is/was 1037605
We've got an '04 F-550 cab and chassis that we put a vacuum pump and tank on to pull tanks out in the oilfield, but the idle rpm's are too low to make the vacuum pump work as well as it should. Revving the truck to 1200-1250 really makes everything run nice.
I've seen a wiring trick that the automatic transmission 6.0's can do to make them idle to 1200rpm's, but apparently, that same trick doesn't apply to the manual transmission trucks, like ours.
I've also seen Factory-Ford RPM Controllers for 7.3 Powerstrokes on ebay, but again, no luck for the manual-trans. 6.0's
