I get a P1399 code after a short run in the heat (above 80 degrees) and the truck shuts off. the code pulls glow plug circuit high, do you think possibly my glow plug relay is stuck on and the motor is shutting off to prevent damage to the glow plugs, or start a fire?.
GPR stuck "on" what would happen?

No reason for the GPR to even be on after the truck is running, especially in the summer. It would be easy to check with a multimeter to see if it is staying on or not. You should be able to watch the volt meter and you can see it jump up when the GPR shuts off.
