My name is Steve. I live in Lake Charles, LA. I own a 1997 Ford F250 Heavy Duty PowerStroke 7.3L Extended Cab. I also have a 1989 Ford F250 up on blocks in the back yard. That one has a 351 windsor. And I have a 1994 Ford Thunderbird (V8 - not running.)
I have a small set of tools, no garage. When I work on my vehicles it is outside in the weather. I rebuilt one engine back in 1976 (a 440 chrysler) but I have done other work on vehicles all my life. Spent some of my childhood in the driveway under a car holding the flashlight for my dad.
I have worked as a storekeeper, a laborer, a data entry clerk, a computer programmer/software developer, a hydroblaster, a truck driver (OTR and Oilfield) and a grocer. Been trying to get back into the software business for sixteen years now, but no degree and no connections. Too old now, I guess. I'm sixty one. :frown2:
