i dont like the stock 04 grille, i would like to slap in a newer stock grille from 06, is this possible? does anyone know who sells aftermarket grilles that look like stock i am not after the billett look, i like the ones on the amarillo f350?

Im have not checked out the link to these grilles, but I will say that I ordered a 04 grill for my 05. There are 5 clips on the lower part of the grille on the 05 and 4 on the 04. So it will not work unless the header panel is changed out if you buy a factory grille.

Like you said (you have not checked out the link) so call the guy and get some information before saying it will not work because they do work and work well and with no header panel modifications. His number is on his ebay add.

made my own for $190. just cut off 1.5 - 1.75 inches with a saber saw and a medium blade. 2 sheet metal screews painted black held the bottom. I covered the grill where it is to be cut with masking tape and the bottom of the saw to prevent scratches. took all of 45 minutes.

It's always nice to save a hundred bucks when possible but I would have went through 5 grilles before I got it right so it would have cost me 1k /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif and doing it yourself is a good way to go but even the guys that do them all the time on ebay make mistakes from time to time so for most guys it's going to be worth the extra 100 for the guarantee. I talked with the ebay seller and he said that sometimes no matter how careful you are the chrome chips and I know there are others that are jinxed like me lol.
