Well I am knocking the dust off my H2e kit that I am building. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I am working on the up-pipes and I am mocking this kit up off of my 01 motor in the shop, to put in my 96. My ? is on the up pipes could you use,not sure the name, those little braided pipes like these up-pipes these are suns-psd's pics of his pipes. Would something like that work so that the pipes could be moved slightly for and diff between the 01 motor and my 96? If they would work where could you find them, what are they called? Thanks for any info

There is no difference in the 01 and 96 engine The Exhaust manifold is different but not the block.
But I think This is what your asking about

Take a look here . The only difference from the 96-01 setup is the driver side exhaust manifold. I would recommend you find an early style manifold and fab it to that. The difference between the two manifolds is about 3/4", the '96 being the shorter one.
