I am not a Marine but did get the great opportunity to serve along side of many Marines. I made a 7 month Cruise with two Marine Squadrons in our Airwing, VMFA-314 and VMFA-323 way back in 85/86. I was the only Engine Tech. Rep. at NAS Fallon for over 12 years so got to work with every VMFA there was at the time. Even had a Gunny Sergeant go through Chief's Initiation with me in 1980. They are the last true Military Service we have and understand RHIP.
