Anyone else experienced a very hard downshift from 2-1 in Tow Haul when coming to a slow stop (crawling) running empty. I think I may have applied the brake at the same time as the ****. It doesn't do it all the time just once and a while when I decend a steep hill coming from my house.
When it happens you would think the tranny was going to drop out.
you need to read your book on that. it tells you where to make your settings on the tbc. you probably have it set too high for hauling emty. you can set it at any level & play around with it till you get it to the right setting desired.
