I have an unusual problem. When the truck is ice cold it will fire right up. If I shut it off, and turn it on within 15 minutes, it fires right up. If I shut it off, go in and eat dinner and come out after about an hour it will crank and crank but never start. It has brand new batteries and alternator. Any ideas?????? It wouldn't be the glow plugs because it starts fine when cold. Any input would be appreciated.

How many miles on injection pump work?...

After your engine warms, the clearances between your head and rotor will expand, due to the heating in the metals themselves, giving you not enough pressure within the pump itself to adaqeuately supply the injectors.

To me, it doesnt sound like a glow plug issue because it starts right up when it is cold.

Just some food for thought.
