Apparently, some of the headlight switches used a regular incandescent bulb, and SOME used a green LED. Im going to guess you have the bulb.

Remove the entire headlight switch from the dash. I believe on the 02's you just pull it out of the dash.

Unplug the wiring harness.

From the BACKSIDE of the switch, use small screwdrivers to GENTLY release the internal clips that hold the guts inside the outer shell.

Once you get it apart, you should see the bulb and either replace it, or possibly have to solder it out, and solder in a new one.

I have the same problem with my switch. Did you ever repair yours? Was it difficult? I would appreciate any insight you may have to offer.
