Hi, everyone! I'm new to the forum as an owner/poster although I registered a few years ago. I finally found the truck I've wanted and thought I'd come back here to learn, get ideas, get help, and all that other fun stuff.
Last week I bought a 95 F350, 306K miles and you'd never be able to tell it. It's a strong-running truck! It needs a small bit of work, of course, but it's pretty much ready for the road now once I get the tags.
I'm in the Houston area, in a suburb a bit SW. I teach 9th grade English, and spend all my time outdoors. I also have an 06 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited (before they changed the bodystyle), and a 75 Datsun 280Z. My boyfriend races in the 24 Hours of LeMons and when I'm not preoccupied learning how to road race so I can join in later, I'm basically just his team's cheerleader. For the most part, I have a ton of hobbies - I have pastime ADD - and stay busy.
I look forward to getting to know forum members and learning a lot more about my truck. My boyfriend has a 96 so I'm not a total stranger to it, but I'd like to be able to work on it myself like I do with my other vehicles. Glad to be here!
