I will update between this evening and tomorrow but Kevin is correct i was in 5th gear at 2200 rpm's and doing 20mph pedal to the floor. OIL is changed and new within past 3 days. It's not the clutch as i have had to replace that as well just a few years back. Will update later this evening or tomorrow to where we are. So far no change in what is going on with what we have done so far.

UPDATE: As of Last night: IPR, ICP, Oil Sensor, Temp Sensor, Drivers side under valve cover harness, throttle position accelerator, cps, changed fuel filter, changed oil and oil filter, air filter. Still boggs down after 8 to 10 minutes to 2200 rpm's and 4th and 5th gear doing 20 mph.

Working on dropping the tank tomorrow between appointments and changing screens.

Buzz test shows all injectors are good

contribution test shows all are good.

Blows blue smoke when cranking when not plugged in.

Plugged in easy crank and no smoke. Temps in the 50's.

I think you may be on the right track in dropping the tank. White smoke is a sign of fuel starvation.
Hope you find the solution there.

Hey Kevin,

Dave RT has suggested it for some time now, hopefully it's the culprit as Dave thought
it from the start. It's blowing blue smoke and very little white so hopefully this is it. With
411k on the clock trying to get to 600 plus

Something is not right in what you are reporting for numbers. There is no way you are doing 20 mph in 4 or 5 th gear at 2,200 rpm's. Do you mean 220 rpm's. It sounds like fuel starvation to me. Ether plugged filters in tank or air inclusion into the lines between tank and pump. There is a spot where the fuel line runs over the frame above the tank that rubs on the frame.

UPDATE: As of an hour ago because of lack of time and a weak sounding fuel
pump we replaced the fuel pump and drove for 16 minutes again before it began to act up
and made it back to the house. Hopefully tomorrow i am able to drop the tank and do the pickup replacement
as well as screens, which is the plan at this point. Thanks for All the help but please read the entire posts
so you are able to know what happened and where we are at this point. Thanks for All the help
and will update hopefully tomorrow.

UPDATE: Dropped tank last night and today and changed pickup foot and screens and got all the old pieces out of the tank. Put the 10 gallons back in and cycled key 5 times and it cranked and ran for 2 mins then went to take it for a spin and it bogged down before it moved and cut off. Tried to crank again and batteries are dead now from making attempts. Ran fuel out of bowl to make sure fuel was moving through. Will have to wait until morning once batteries are fully charged to try again. Not sure what else to do. All sensors changed, Fuel pump changed fresh oil and filters. Monday will make 2 weeks down so trying to get it back going before then.
Also Ran AE for codes and no codes present

UPDATE: RT helped us get the truck back started, MANY THANKS! Air was in the lines, Just got it started an hour ago. Ran long enough to get the air out and blow enough blue smoke to fog the subdivision out and then took it for a spin and after 6/7 minutes it lost power again and shut down.

Sat for 10 minutes and fired up and went straight to the house.

Don't have the right fitting at the moment to do a fuel pressure test but back to square one with loss of power
and shutting down.

here is what all we have done so far:

Dropped tank and changed pickup foot and screens and got all the old pieces out of the tank. sensors changed, Fuel pump changed fresh oil and filters. Monday will make 2 weeks down so trying to get it back going before then.
Also Ran AE for codes and no codes present.

Wondering if you have an issue with the fuel pump getting power. I don't believe that the PCM monitors the power to the fuel pump. Maybe you could wire an indicator light to the fuel pump connector so you could see if the pump is continuing to get power or is off when your loss of power occurs. Truly a WAG on my part, but can't hurt to check.

Hey Kevin, Thanks, is there a how to link somewhere to do this. Planning to change O rings on drivers side after church today to see whether there are any Orings that are bad. Thanks so much,Duane

I was thinking along similar lines. I'll bet it's either losing power to the frame-rail mounted pump or it's got a partial clog and can't deliver enough fuel at highway speed. I had a fuel pump get clogged and saw similar symptoms as Saltypop. I could idle it but pulling a load, it would run out of fuel.

My situation was easier to diagnose because I knew that I had probably trashed it from old fuel in an aftermarked auxiliary tank. I have an in-bed 110 gallon that I hadn't used in a while and then put diesel in and tried running on it. Failed almost immediately. I get the impression that they barely supply adequate fuel under load even when new. just my humble opinion...

You'd have to identify the hot wire going to the fuel pump, splice into that and connect your indicator light between that and ground. Should be the pink/black wire at the fuel pump, or you could intercept either wire at the fuel pump cutoff switch on the right side kick panel.

Even though it's a new pump it could still be not getting power correct?

That was my thought. I did notice when looking at the wiring diagram for the wire color, that the PCM does monitor the fuel pump secondary power circuit, but not sure what it does with it at the moment. I may have to dig into that for you.

UPDATE: GOING INTO 6 WEEKS CONFIRMED IT WAS INJECTORS. We changed them all out today and truck is running,
now to fix the ac that went out during all of this. RT Thanks for Keeping tabs on me so i didn't get discouraged!
