First of all, sorry if this is "elementary" but I need some help in pinpointing a problem that keeps coming back to haunt me.
I keep having a power loss/increase while driving down the road maintaining constant pedal. I have been through parts of the fuel system and after I "fix" stuff it runs perfect and then the problem comes back. All the while my EGT's seem low compared to normal and mileage is still good.
Could air entering the system from somewhere cause surging of power and low EGT's? I am currently on my secomd fuel pump and am putting together an electric SD type system but that's another post. I have been through the fpr and replaced o-rings and various fuel lines. After every "repair" it runs good for a while and then the problem comes back.
Any ideas?
