Here is the situtation. I just replaced the o ring on the fitting that screws in to the high pressure oil pump. That went smooth and there is now no oil leak, but since I put it back together there is huge amount of fuel pouring out of a tube near the passenger side front wheel well. Seems like some kind of vent tube. Whats up? What is wrong. TIA.

there is a yellow lever on the fuel bowl for draining the water out of the canister, you must have bumped it and opened the valve. Look at the top of the engine, you will see the yellow lever, it will rotate in plane with the ground to close.

Check and make sure you didn't bump the water drain open on the fuel filter canister when you did the HPOP o-rings. It's the yellow handle on the backside of the filter housing. If it is closed, you may need to either replace just to o-rings or the entire assembly.

Same thing happened to my truck. Its most likely the yellow handled bleeder valve for the fuel bowl. If it is the whole assembly they cost about 60 bucks from ford. Or it could be just the o-rings on that valve. Unfortunatly Ford doesn't sell the o-rings seperatly. I have found the o-rings online for $10 but I can't recall the website. Hope this helps.

A good hydralics shop will have the correct size for a couple of bucks.
