I was just going to NAPA to pick up some new front brake pads and realized I cant remember what year dana 60 I put in a couple of years ago, I know its pre-92, and I think it might be pre-90?, but is there any indicators that would give me the correct year to match up the brake pads?, I knew I should have written that down somewhere. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Pop the pads out & take them with you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Then copy the part # down off the box in a "little black book" to keep in the glove box. I keep one with all the part #'s, stats, etc of things I don't remember. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

you might want to get the Bill of Materials (BOM) off the axle tube as it will tell you what year, bearing size & all that stuff.

Pirate 4x4 has a good 60 tech section on their site with lots of info & then you may try the dana expert site with your BOM to get any other info you need.

Cheers
