Owner of a 6.2L 1983 Chevy K10, with close to zero knowledge of anything but I am trying to learn! Hoping to attend a tech school for mechanics after I graduate regular college (going for an agriculture degree right now, graduating next spring).

Right now she's not running, something keeps frying one of the batteries. Trying to get it up to daily driver status before the end of the month to replace my 2002 f150 gasser that lost its transmission in november.

Edit: crap, is this website just for ford diesels?

lol yes ford forum.

Not too much electronic in those years you should be able to find what draining your battery. And for frying your battery look at your alternator and voltage regulator.

Good luck with your new truck and stick around if you want to learn about ford ?
