I have hornblasters train horns.....Depending on how you wired the "joy" button will determine when your horn will sound. I have the toggle switch wired to the solenoid and then to ground. I can flip the switch any time and get LOUD... The tank pressure switch is wired to a hot lead that only has power with the key ON so that it won't run the batteries down if the compressor keeps running. It sounds like you have it wired up right. I kept it separate from the factory horn so I can use the train horn at my discretion :sneaky:

I wired mine so that it is triggered by the factory horn button. I left the factory horns the same and added a switch that allows me to disable the train horn so that only the factory horns will sound off if I ever need to be stealth or not give grandpa a heart attack. I like the train horns being wired in this way because in the case of an emergency they are right there where I would normally press to blow the horn and will wake the other guy up quick.

I also wired the compressor so that it is on a relay and will only come on when the ignition is on.

Biggest thing is making sure the compressor doesn't come on without the key in the ignition.....:jester:

^^ Ya. If you wire the system up without the inline fuse from the pressure switch to the positive terminal on the battery, your system will turn on when the vehicle is off. It will KILL your battery. We should have given you instructions in the kit package. Did you purchase a Bandit kit? You should upgrade to the shockers. We handtune them, make them in the USA, and the horns have a lifetime warranty. Let me know if you ever want to upgrade to those horns and I'll give you a good deal.
